Marketing Specialist

Job Overview

As a Marketing Specialist at Silex Technology America, you will be responsible for developing and promoting marketing content to help build brand awareness and generate interest in our products and services. This role will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
In this role, you will write, edit, and design marketing materials including brochures, catalog pages, press releases, customer success stories, newsletters, graphics, advertisements, web content, and sales enablement collateral. You will also run integrated marketing campaigns, maintain metrics scorecards, analyze results, and make recommendations to ensure ROI.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the areas of content development, digital marketing, marketing automation, and running projects for technical, B2B companies. If you are a detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for storytelling and a strong sense of aesthetics to fuel the acquisition, engagement, and retention of customers, this role is for you.

Job Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

Content Development

  •  Create, update, and maintain Silex content
  •  Owner of company website and responsible for maintaining, updating and enhancing it over time.
  •  Develop high-quality marketing assets such as product presentations, marketing brochures, sales guides, etc.
  •  Build engaging storylines and content to effectively convey key messages and value propositions to our target audience.
  •  Support creation of executive presentations for external and internal audiences.

Campaign Management

  •  Develop comprehensive demand generation campaigns to drive new leads and optimize the lead to customer conversion rate.
  •  Manage trade show planning and execution.
  •  Manage inbound campaigns end-to-end through digital, social, and paid media channels including website, landing pages, SEO, SEM, blog, email/video nurture, webinars, etc.
  •  Manage social media accounts.

Metrics Reporting and Analysis

  •  Analyze marketing performance using HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and other tools as needed to maximize ROI, analyze incremental effect of marketing efforts; provide insights and recommendations to key decision-makers.
  •  Develop reports and provide insights to help marketers be effective and nimble. Create output that tells the story behind the data to non-technical team members.
  •  Optimize and manage KPI's to measure effectiveness of product marketing.

 Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with desired fields of study in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of content marketing experience in a technology marketing role.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and copy-editing skills.
  • Familiar with branding and design basics to provide consistent direction internally and to external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva to edit or create content.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong team player.
 Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in developing and leading marketing campaigns, including online advertising campaigns.
  • Technical writing experience for B2B audience.
  • Experience in using HubSpot and Salesforce for marketing-related activities.
  • Experience with graphic design, Visio and the Adobe Creative Suite preferred.


This is a full-time position located in Santa Ana, California. Silex Technology America has adopted a hybrid work schedule consisting of two days in office weekly (Tuesday and Thursday) and three days from home weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
