Wi-Fi 6E Multi-Functional High-Performance Wi-Fi Bridge

The BR-600AX is an Ethernet-to-Wi-Fi bridge that supports Wi-Fi 6E connectivity across tri-band wireless networks (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz). In addition to operating as a Wi-Fi bridge in station mode, it supports access point and mesh networking functions on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.

Designed for Ethernet-enabled devices that require high data throughput and seamless roaming between access points, the BR-600AX leverages the 6 GHz band to help reduce congestion on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This enables more reliable wireless connectivity and improved overall network performance.

The BR-600AX can build a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz mesh network with up to 32 nodes. Silex’s proprietary tree-topology mesh technology is ideal for both stationary and portable Ethernet devices, enabling wireless device-to-device communication while allowing the network infrastructure to be established and expanded autonomously.

Wi-Fi 6E 6 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity

The BR-600AX connects Ethernet devices to a 6 GHz Wi-Fi network in the station mode. Utilizing the 6 GHz band helps avoid additional radio congestion in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi environments. 

Create wireless network infrastructure with AMC Mesh

The BR-600AX builds a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz mesh network with up to 32 nodes. Silex’s proprietary tree-topology mesh network is suitable for both stationary and portable Ethernet devices.

Connect Ethernet devices to a 6 GHz Wi-Fi network

Enterprise-Grade Security

The BR-600AX is engineered to meet the stringent cybersecurity requirements of modern environments. It supports WPA3 Enterprise (192-bit) encryption and IEEE 802.1X authentication when operating in 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band, providing robust protection and ensuring compatibility with existing enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructures.

The BR-600AX implements a VPN server to establish secure connections with users' VPN clients so that the application layer data can be encrypted to protect data from cyber attacks.

Seamless Mobility with Fast Roaming

To support continuous connectivity for mobility devices, the BR-600AX features IEEE 802.11r fast roaming. This enables devices to maintain an uninterrupted wireless connection when moving among access points, ensuring data transmission remains stable and reliable. Ethernet devices equipped with the BR-600AX stay connected without data loss or service interruption. (Requires Wi-Fi access points supporting IEEE 802.11r.).

Access Point Mode for Local Connectivity

When operating in Access Point Mode, the BR-600AX functions as a local Wi-Fi hotspot, creating a secure network for nearby wireless devices. This capability is useful to create local area network independent from network infrastructure for machine-to-machine (M2M) communications. It simplifies local configuration, device provisioning, and firmware updates, making it especially useful for wirelessly connected local system or OT network.

Centralized Management with AMC Manager®

The BR-600AX can be easily configured, monitored, and managed using Silex’s AMC Manager® software. This centralized management tool enables IT administrators to remotely monitor connection status, perform firmware updates, and adjust device settings without needing physical access. AMC Manager® also provides key performance metrics, such as signal strength and channel utilization, allowing for proactive maintenance and reduced system downtime. Through centralized control, hospitals can simplify network management, enhance reliability, and lower operational costs.
