Not a SX-580:Our SDK uses the SX-580-2700DM as a development module which is the SX-580-2700 hardware with additional memory. The SDK does not include any of the standard SX-580 applications.
Build your own Applications:This product is for experienced engineers with expertise in Linux. The development environment is provided, but the customer will have to build their own programs.
Silex Support Recommended:The documentation for the SDK may or may not be enough, depending on engineer’s expertise in Linux. It is recommended to purchase additional support hours (40 hrs) from Silex, unless you are confident you do not need any support.
Development Environment:Development environment and Software is provided. However the software and the VMware are provided separately in the SDK. Users need to build the tool chain and compile themselves which can take some time. Our next release will have the two combined.
