This page explains how to use USB devices connected to DS-600 after installing SX Virtual Link on Macintosh.
2. Connecting/Disconnecting to/from a USB device
How to start SX Virtual Link:
|
Click the SX Virtual Link icon (
|
|
The SX Virtual Link's main window appears. The USB devices running on a network are displayed in the device list.
|
|
|
Basic usage of a USB device:
|
Select the USB device in SX Virtual Link's main window and connect to it. |
|
When successfully connected to the USB device, the Plug and Play function will detect it and the USB device will become ready to use. |
|
When finished using the USB device, disconnect it using SX Virtual Link. |
How to connect:
| Double-click | Double-click the USB device in SX Virtual Link's main window. |
| Use a button | Select the USB device and click the Connect button
( ) in SX Virtual Link's main window. If you select two or more USB devices, you can connect to them at once. |
How to disconnect:
| Double-click | Double-click the USB device in SX Virtual Link's main window. |
| Use a button | Select the USB device and click the Disconnect
button ( )
in SX Virtual Link's main window. |

How to finish SX Virtual Link:

Click SX Virtual Link from the menu bar and select Quit SX Virtual Link. |

When USB device is in use, the dialog below is displayed.

SX Virtual Link has an Online Help which provides helpful
information on its usage.
How to access the Online Help is as follows:

Start SX Virtual Link. |

In SX Virtual Link's main window, click the Help
button (

Online Help will open.
