This page explains the network settings of DS-600.
General Configuration page provides the host name and workgroup settings.

Host Name |
Set the host name. The host name is used for SX Virtual Link, WINS, etc. Be sure to use a unique name that is not used by other devices. |

TCP/IP Configuration page provides the IP address setting.

DHCP Client |
Enable/Disable the DHCP client feature. To configure IP address using DHCP, the DHCP server must be running in the subnetwork. |

IP Address |
Set an IP address. When DHCP is enabled, DS-600 will use the IP Address assigned by it. |

Subnet Mask |
Set a subnet mask. When set to "0.0.0.0", a subnet mask appropriate for the IP address is automatically used. When DHCP is enabled, DS-600 will use the subnet mask assigned by it. |

Default Gateway |
Set a gateway address. If "0.0.0.0" is set, this setting is disabled. When DHCP is enabled, DS-600 will use the default gateway assigned by it. |

DNS Server (Primary) |
Set a primary DNS server address. When DHCP is enabled, the DNS address obtained from it will be used. |

DNS Server (Secondary) |
Set a secondary DNS server address. When DHCP is enabled, the DNS address obtained from it will be used. |

Select the physical network type (AUTO / 10 HALF / 10 FULL / 100 HALF / 100 FULL). In most cases, AUTO is used. If the LINK lamp on your HUB does not light up when DS-600 is turned on, configure this setting to match that of the HUB. |
