Jarrod RaffertyAs the Director of Customer Engineering at Silex Technology America, Inc. Jarrod Rafferty is responsible new product development and interfacing to engineering teams at Silex India and Silex headquarters in Japan. He also manages our FAE organization.
Jarrod joined Silex in 2016 as an IoT matter expert and has since been promoted to Director of Customer Engineering. Prior to Silex, Jarrod gained his expertise in Wi-Fi at Cisco/Aironet, one of the pioneers of Wi-Fi. He left Cisco Systems to start a company with 4 others, Summit Data Communications (now part of Laird Wireless) where he was the VP of Engineering.
Jarrod earned a bachelor of science in computer science degree from the University of Akron, located in Akron Ohio. Outside of work, Jarrod enjoys golfing, hiking, and travelling.
