How to optimize the NXP BSP and configure the SX-SDCAN to evaluate with the NXP i.MX6

How to Bring Up SX-SDCAN on Sabre-SD EVK

Download this application note to learn the steps required to bring up the the SX-SDCAN on the Sabre-SD EVK using the NXP™ BSP.

The NXP™ iMX6 Sabre-SD EVK SDK contains a Qualcomm Atheros (QCA) reference driver for the AR6003 radio.  The Silex SX-SDCAN is based on the AR6003 radio. The reference QCA driver is compatible with the SX-SDCAN however fully optimized operation requires a Silex developed driver.  The following document will cover the steps required to bring up the network interface for the SX-SDCAN on the Sabre-SD EVK using the NXP™ BSP and how to install the necessary board data files to the NXP driver to get optimized performance.

It covers support for Linux Kernel version v3.0.35.

This application note will help you:
