Territory Manager

 

Job Overview

As a Territory Sales Manager at Silex Technology America, reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships, securing new design wins, and achieving revenue quotas within your assigned accounts and territory. You will exhibit a deep understanding of complex sales processes and be able to demonstrate sales success. You will have a successful track record of technical solution selling and quickly and comfortably develop director level relationships. You will be responsible for establishing, generating, and developing specific sales objectives within strategic opportunities in your territory.

Your valued contribution will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Qualify opportunities quickly and effectively.
  • Review new leads and strategically prospect into target accounts within territory to build pipeline. 
  • Capture and update opportunity information in Salesforce.
  • Understand customer decision making process and communicate requirements clearly to the organization.
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient in presenting Silex products and technologies to your customers and partners.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Build relationships, manage, and coordinate sales activities with our distribution and reps partners.
  • Negotiate the best deal possible for Silex.
  • Generate revenue growth at new and existing customers.
  • Bear responsibility for customers through all stages of the Sales Process.
  • Understand customer forecast and secure orders against stated lead times.I
  • Identify and execute long term strategy plans for strategic customers. 
Qualifications and Experience Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • 5 years sales experience in a semiconductor, electronics, or technology company
  • Proven ability to learn technical products.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Travel Required 25-50%
Location/Travel

You will report to our office in Santa Ana, California. This position primarily works in the company's Orange County office; however, there can be location flexibility within the assigned territory. Travel will primarily be within North America; however, some international travel may be required. Travel may be required up to 25-50% of the time.

Pay Range

$80,000 - $120,000 plus commission. Salary and total compensation package is negotiable and commensurate with academic accomplishments, skill set and experience.
