Warehouse Operations Support

 

The role of the Warehouse Operations Support is to support the Operations Manager and provide various types of deliverable that help the organization achieve revenue and profit objectives. You will be expected to perform several tasks that support the Engineering, Sales, and Purchasing departments. This position reports to the Operations Manager and does not have any direct staff supervision..

Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Shipping: Ensure accurate order picking and product meets customer expectations.
  • Receiving: Work with buyer on accurate receiving of product. Perform incoming inspection of product prior to receiving.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure inventory reports/counts are accurate to support the sales staff.

Ensure work orders are created and closed prior to shipment of product

Perform regular cycle counts on products to maintain a high level of accuracy

  • Production: Follow product work instructions to complete custom OEM products.
  • Ingram: Maintain adequate inventory levels in support of sales.
  • RMA Returns: Process RMA’s per the RMA returns procedure 

Sales Responsibilities

  • Sales Order Entry: Responsible for all sales orders entered in to Macola from customer PO’s
  • Sales Order Scheduling: Responsible for maintaining an accurate schedule of ship dates to customers. Ensuring that the sales reports is complete and accurate.
  • Product Forecasting: Responsible for updating the product forecast report from sales input and send to SHQ for product ordering
  • Revenue Forecasting: Responsible for updating the Sales revenue forecast report and providing the updated data to Sales

Engineering Responsibilities 

  • Provide First Article Samples
  • Provide updated labels for new ECO’s
  • Testing of new firmware for ECO release
  • Provide label updates 

Qualifications 

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college education or other technical training preferred. 

Experience: Mandatory general warehouse experience, preferably in a shipping and receiving setting desired. Previous experience with a Supply Chain function. Strong excel knowledge, able to pick up systems quickly, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task. 

Judgement & Initiative: Must function well with minimum supervision.  Must be a detail-oriented individual with good organizational skills.  Ability to function in a semi-supervisory capacity to facilitate work flow and warehouse activities required. 

Communication skills: Strong oral and written communication skills in English required to interpret and relay job specifications, prepare reports etc., as well as for regular formal and informal communication with manager, team members, and outside company associates.
