SX-SDMAH-US Evaluation

Industrial grade high transmission power MM6108-based 802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow module

Powered by MM6108 Wi-Fi HaLow IC from Morse Micro, SX-SDMAH-US is high performance IEEE 802.11ah Wi-Fi module that operates in the Sub 1GHz license-exempt band. It offers a much greater range up over 1km compared with 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz Wi-Fi. The SX-SDMAH-US provides up to 32.5Mbps bit rate to elevate the Wi-Fi HaLow experience. The SX-SDMAH-EVK-US mounted with the SX-SDMAH-US module is designed to allow easy evaluation of the 802.11ah radio using the Raspberry Pi reference platform.

We also offer evaluation image that includes the Silex reference radio driver, supplicant and tools to test the following.

  • Basic Wireless Functionality
  • Wi-Fi Security
  • Data Throughput
  • Station & Access Point Mode
  • DHCP Server and Client

What you will need?

You will need to procure the following to begin evaluation. Please prepare necessary hardware especially when you have SX-SDMAH-EVB-US, which is the evaluation board only.

Hardware:

SX-SDMAH-EVK-US: This evaluation kit contains everything you need to get up and running. The Kit includes:

   • SX-SDMAH-EVB-US (Module installed)
   • Antenna for the SX-SDMAH-US
   • Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with 8GB RAM
