cognitoyChildren learn many things in different ways. Each child has his own way of learning, some learn visually, others through touch, taste, and sound. As a part of gaining knowledge , a child may ask hundreds of questions in a day. It’s an educational process , that helps early learners to discover the meaning of the world around them.  So what is required here is an active listener who can answer and clarify all the doubts of a child, which is also fun to play. Elemental Path worked closely with Silex Technology to develop a smart toy called CogniToy, which bridges learning and playing for kids.

Silex Technology's engineering team ported Elemental Path’s application code from their first-generation single-band module to the Qualcomm QCA4012 module.  Silex's strong expertise on technical knowledge of the QCA4012 module architecture and it’s ThreadX RTOS development environment helped Elemental Path to make improvements with  their second-generation CogniToy. SX-SP242 module, which is a dual-band low-energy, low-power Wi-Fi module with an onboard processor that met all  the requirements of Elemental Path.

Team Silex offered its full support to Elemental path  throughout the process of development. Silex Technology  being  a Qualcomm ADC, had the privilege to access source code to make changes and helped Elemental Path port its software from their first-generation device to the SX-SP242 module.

“Because of the amount of contact we had directly with Silex Technology engineers throughout the development process, we feel confident they will continue to provide the direct support we need for this product and all future application development,” Coolidge said. “We also feel strongly that Silex Technology not only supports what we are doing right now, but we know their product road map, feel confident in their technical expertise, and know we have formed a partnership that will continue to support our development well into the future.”
