We are pleased to announce that we have released firmware version 3.00 of the AP-100AH and the BR-100AH to make 802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow^TM solution available for enterprises that require 802.1X authentication for the device authentication.

Silex has been the global leader in Ethernet to Wi-Fi bridge products for enterprise customers. It has enabled a large number of Ethernet devices to connect with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi networks requiring WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, and WPA3-Enterprise security. Silex now adds the 802.11ah solution, the BR-100AH, to the enterprise Ethernet to Wi-Fi bridge family.

Silex has also enabled the 802.1X WLAN network with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax access point by supporting the WPAx-Enterprise security. The AP-100AH is now able to build 802.11ah wireless LAN infrastructure secured by the WPA3-Enterprise (128-bit mode).
